About Us

Hi, I'm Ruby Chadney.

I am 11 years old. These past few years, I've watched myself and my friends struggle with anxiety and mental health, feeling lost and alone.   
As a result of my own battles, I realised no one is alone. Everyone is loved just for being themselves, and so many people don't know that.

So I decided to do something about it and make a difference.

One of my dreams growing up was to start my own clothing brand. I was designing some characters I hoped to get printed onto t-shirts, when me and my Mum had the idea.

What if, through an open outpouring of love and acceptance, we could change the world: one t-shirt, hoodie, and tote bag at a time.

The name "Sunbeams & Daydreams" is a natural summary of our message. Things might not always be easy, but there's always room for someone to shine a little hope and love and pass on a reminder that you aren't alone.

Fast forward to today, and Sunbeams & Daydreams continues to push that you don't just have to survive - you can thrive.

We all face challenges on our journey, but nobody has to go through them alone.
